A fiberglass manufacturing facility will be set up in Syria at an investment of more than 26 million USD. The Plant, being set up by Tamdidpies® at Aleppo city, will manufacture more than 40,000 tonnes of Glass Reinforced Pipes, Fittings & special spooling which will be sold to customers in Syria, Iraq, GCC, Middle East countries and to developing markets.
The company is building a 7,000 sq m facility on 110,000 sq m total site area at north Aleppo in Syria. The Plant will generate approximately 50 jobs for Syrians with further jobs being provided in transportation and logistics. The plant will play role to increase the capacity of the local GRP producers exist in the region and fulfill the huge demand in local and foreign markets.
